Kayla is a witty and passionate actor, singer, and dancer. She recently graduated from the University of West Florida (Go Argos) with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Marketing. Kayla's journey in the performing arts began at the age of 8 when she was cast in the Ensemble of Camp Rock: The Musical and fell in love with performing (though little Kayla will tell you she was robbed of the role of Mitchie, which went to an older and more experienced kid). Ever since, Kayla has had the opportunity to perform in various musicals and plays. Her recent credits include The Drowsy Chaperone (Ensemble), Nine (Lina Darling), Blithe Spirit (Mrs. Bradman and U/S Ruth), and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Aslan Puppeteer).

 

Outside of performing, Kayla has developed a passion for social media marketing. In college, Kayla was one of the founding members of the Social Media Team for the Theatre Department at UWF. From August 2021 to May 2024, Kayla was the Head of Instagram. Her responsibilities included creating graphics, responding to DMs and comments, and crafting posts. Post-grad, Kayla has been given the opportunity to work as the Social Media Assistant for PenArts!

 

When Kayla isn't on the stage or scrolling on social media (for marketing purposes, no other reason...) you can find her taking a million pictures of her cat, fantasizing over Flynn Rider, or hanging out with her best friends at the local Chilis!
